The standard

Engine Warranty

HRE is driven by passion of performance engines. We combine aerospace quality with automotive engineering, creating products for like minded racers.

Our Race Program is intended to keep a tight relationship between customers and HRE. Our engines are built with extensive build documentation noting down every component, hardware and assembly process involved with the engine build. This documentation is used to keep the engine build at the highest possible level, this is also used for scheduled maintenance and as a reference for future development.

New can become old quick in race engines, our passion keeps us pushing development to ensure our customers always have the best engine package available. From engine power and delivery, dry sumps, fan systems and exhaust, the best will always be on offer to teams involved with the HRE. We encourage feedback from our customer. Our goal is to supply the best package to meet your needs.

Throughout the build process the customer will be kept up to date with engine status and lead time for completion, with any issues being raised immediately.

Technical support is offered to the team throughout the year. We will be at selected big meeting during the season, helping you get the most out of your engine set up and making sure everything is running as it should.

Hughes Race Engines provides a workmanship limited warranty (due to the nature of high performance engines) on complete new builds assembled and tested by HRE. This warrants that the new engine is free from defect in workmanship during assembly.

It is the responsibility of the purchaser to have a certified mechanic install the engine to the chassis. HRE will be available for tech support to answer any questions during this process or may fit and plumb engine on request.

Warranty claims will be case by case with the engine being pulled down and assessed, third party assessment can be requested by mutual assessor.

Warranties are non-transferable between owners.

Finance

Engine packages will be priced in full and created to suit the customer’s needs and requirements.

Once the engine build has been signed off by the customer the first down payment to start start job will be invoiced with progress payments to be paid as engine comes together or parts ordered. Payment scheme as followed.

Final Payment on collection
